I have lived, worked and played on the water of RI, Narragansett bay and surrounding ocean beaches my entire life, this is where I get my inspiration. My ideas come from my appreciation of the wildlife in and around the bay and oceans all over the US and globally.

I discovered the beauty of seaweed through my niece who was studying at Roger Williams and her assignment was to collect, dry and identify species from all over RI. I saw the process, was fascinated with the beauty and variety of the seaweed and I have perfected the process after many years and trials to create my artwork.

Art has always been a big part of who I am, and I have various studies from RI school of design, The Jewelry institute, CCRI and Bryant collage for both business and the arts. I bring these skills to be able to create art from natural materials and mixed media in way that I can present in a beautiful format. I take great care to matt and frame each to complement all of my original pieces of work.
